Pace: Social Trip Length is really closer to 13 miles Meeting Place: Meet at Tibbett's valley park; I-90 east, take exit 15, head right (south), go 3 blocks and turn left on Newport Way, go east a short block and turn right into the parking lot. NOTE: Trailhead requires vehicles to have Dept of Fish & Wildlife permits. ( If we need more than one and get them at the same time, we'll get a discount. Please let me know if you already have one. Also let me know whether or not you can drive and how many people you can take, since we'll need the permits in advance. Book is Desert Hikes Washington (Mountaineers Press) Plan: take Hardy Canyon hike up (hike 10) then take the big burn canyon trail or the ridge jeep track back (hike 11).
