10: 30 am at Wilson Playing Fields, 13028 SE 251st St. Kent.

Full directions to the location will be sent to those who register once registration closes.

From the Wilson Playing Fields where we will park and have restroom facilities we will hike about 4 miles on trails that include lakeside views and on a clear day a distant view of Mt. Rainier .

Our route will include some paved trail and road shoulder to reach the Clark Lake Park where the trails are a mix of dirt, grass and loose rock.

The park is situated on the Kent East Hill. This is a good option for winter trips when the days are shorter and snow can limit hiking in mountains. Sections of the trail will probably be a bit muddy at this time of year, but I think you will find it a fun short hike reveling one of Kent's hidden gems.
