Day Hike - Cherry Creek Falls

Hike is an easy, but possibly muddy, 5.5 miles round trip. The falls plunge into a pool that is perfect for wading. A great payoff on a hot day!

Meet at the trailhead at 8 am.

Driving directions:  From Main Street in downtown Duvall, head north and veer right onto NE 165th St/NE Cherry Valley Road and drive for 4.2 miles. Turn left onto Mountain View Road NE and park immediately on the east side of the road on the shoulder.  There is no parking lot--all parking is on the road shoulder.

This is a regular (adult) day hike, but families are welcome.   The pool is perfect for kids (of all ages) to  splash around in.  Last time we were there, you could even walk under the falls and get really wet.

Trip reports said the trail is muddy, but with the hot weather, it may have dried.  poles (or a walking stick) are recommended.
