Break in your pack with some Olympic Mountain views, the Love Locks bridge and a beach walk to Proposal Point. Priority to Tacoma Branch Intro to Backpacking students until April 15th, then open to everyone.

Meet at the Central Meadow near the restrooms at 9am. No parking pass required.

This trip is geared toward Intro to Backpacking students learning to carry a weighted pack to get ready for backpacking season. We will be hiking the loop trail along the outside of  the golf course, rounding the Pierce County Environmental Services Building, then out to the bridge and beach. On a clear day the views of the Olympics are fantastic!
