Bagley & Chain Lakes

Trip

Day Hike - Chain Lakes Loop

Bring your camera for those magnificent views of Mt Baker, Mt Shuksan, Table Mountain, Ptarmigan Ridge, and six pristine alpine lakes. This hike is intended to be at a social pace where we can mingle, take in the views, and take pictures. I hope to enjoy wild huckleberries and blue berries during the hike but this is not a berry picking event (must leave some for bear cubs, right). Most of the trail is exposed so the hike will be cancelled if weather is bad. Let's plan to leave from Mountaineers Baker Lodge parking lot and return to the same place about 4-5 hours later.  Discover Pass not required if  parked in the lodge's parking lot.

I just learned that there's a work party going on this particular weekend to repair, clean and prep the lodge for the winter so the guests wont be allowed this weekend (Oct 4-6).
