0800 at Rattlesnake Lake parking lot.

From the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot we will hike east on the Palouse to Cascades trail, take the side trail up Cedar Butte and then detour onto the Olallie trail, which heads up Mt. Washington from the west on the Olallie trail, which will get us some elevation gain on a southwest facing hillside. There should not be much, if any snow. We will not go all the way to Mt. Washington.

Winter hiking season so winter hiking season considerations: extra gloves, insulated sit pad, thermos of something hot, no cotton clothing, microspikes, etc.

Barring a major atmospheric river, we will hike, so make sure your rain gear is in good shape.
