9:30 AM at Iron Horse/Cedar Butte Trailhead
This is a Naturalist Trip, so there will be some stopping, looking and picture taking. To get to the trailhead from Seattle, drive E on I-90 to exit 32 (436th Ave SE). Turn right (south) on 436th Ave SE (Cedar Falls Road SE) and drive about 4.5 miles, passing the Rattlesnake Lake parking area, until you find the Iron Horse/Cedar Butte Trailhead parking area on the left. Come dressed for the weather. Bring a pack with extra clothes, water, and lunch. Wear good hiking boots. We should be back at the cars by no later than 2:30pm.
