Day Hike - Capitol Peak

11 mile loop hike to Capitol Peak.

8 am, Wedekind Picnic Area in Capitol Forest.  I will also organize a carpool from Olympia, with details tbd.

On a clear day Capitol Peak has views of the Olympics and Mount Rainier. We will start at old Wedekind Picnic Area, off of C-1000 road.  We will hike the Wedekind and Greenline trails to the peak, and return on the Crestline trail to the Picnic Area.   We will hike at a moderate pace.  Hike will occur rain or shine.
