10:00 AM at Volunteer Park, near entrance to Seattle Asian Art Museum
Starting in Volunteer Park, we’ll take a loop walk through the Capitol Hill neighborhood, strolling past historic estates, lively parks, and a vibrant business district. Lastly, we’ll visit Lake View Cemetery, which is the final resting place of many of Seattle’s early settlers, including the Dennys, Henry Yesler, and Doc Maynard. Before we leave the park, we’ll take time to enjoy the superb Volunteer Park Conservatory. Leader Notes The main entrance to Volunteer Park is at E. Prospect St. and 14th Ave. E.
