Meeting place and time

We will meet at 8:45 a.m. and be ready to hike at 9:00 a.m.

Our meeting place is the main parking area at the Skamania County Public Transit Park.  It is located at the intersection of Salmon Falls road and Highway 14 (just west of Prindle, WA), about 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver, on your left at milepost 26.4.

We'll have great views, falls and a challenging workout on rocky slopes.

I have a group campsite reserved at the Wyeth Campground for Saturday night, for those able to make these hikes more than a (long) day trip.   The campground  is off of Interstate 8 at Exit 51 in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area.   The cost of the campsite (per night: $34 plus $5 per vehicle) will be shared by those who choose to camp there for either one or two nights.  All campgrounds in the Scenic Area have some highway and train noise, so bring your earplugs for sleeping!

Note:  The campsite is reserved for Friday night also, for those that want to make a weekend of it.

We will follow all COVID precautions and the Code of Conduct in effect at the time.
