Day Hike - Cape Flattery

Visit the northwest corner of the 48 contiguous states, where the spectacular scenery from multiple viewpoints includes rock caves, historic Tatoosh Island and sometimes crashing waves echoing in the caves.

Meet at 11:30 AM Saturday at the parking lot of Washburn's General Store in Neah Bay, reached from US 101 by turning right onto SR 112, turning right at the stop sign to stay on SR 112 and continuing to Neah Bay, where Washburn's General Store is on the left in the center of town.

This hike is part of the June 13-14 Shi Shi Beach Car Camp, which includes hiking to Cape Flattery on Saturday, camping Saturday night at Hobuck Beach Campground and hiking on Sunday to Shi Shi Beach.  Registration for the car camp is by registering for the two day hikes.  Leader permission is required to register for either day hike, to assure that all registrants will participate in all three activities.  See the more complete description of the car camp on the Tacoma Branch Calendar, reached by clicking on EVENTS, TACOMA BRANCH and then the date of the car camp.
