Urban Adventure - Cape Disappointment State Park

Meet at the Green Lake Park & Ride (off of 65th St.) in Seattle at 6:45am. I will be parked in the further north end of the lot. Look for a white Crysler Seabring.

We will leave promptly at 7am and head south.

Day 1

We will drive south on I-5 to Long Beach, WA, arriving around 10:30-11:00am. We will have lunch in Long Beach, then head to Cape Disappointment State Park to set up camp.

At 1:30pm, we will head to the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse and take the short trail to the lighthouse to take photos. After leaving this lighthouse, we will drive down to Waikiki Beach to see if there are any brown pelicans or other things to photograph. Park map with trails

Dinner will be on your own.

Sunset is scheduled for 9:11pm, so we'll gather on the beach behind the campsites at 8:00pm to get into position and set up for sunset photos of the North Head Lighthouse.

ImportanT Notes:

Campsite fill up quickly, so you need to book your site ASAP.
