Meet at Noon on Saturday May 31 at the entrance to the Cape Disappointment State Park Campground.

We will camp Saturday night at Cape Disappointment State Park, at the Southwest corner of Washington.  Saturday afternoon we will hike for four miles round trip with no elevation gain on Benson Beach, which is adjacent to the campground.  Then we will hike four miles round trip with 300 feet elevation gain to North Head Lighthouse.  After breaking camp on Sunday morning, we will drive to Leadbetter Point State Park at the north end of the Long Beach Peninsula, where we will do a seven mile loop hike with 50 feet elevation gain.  On the drive home we will have an optional restaurant stop in Long Beach, where arcade activities are available for children.  A camp fee will be charged to cover the cost of three campsites that have been reserved.  After paying the camp fee, no Discover Pass is required.  Check with leader for the amount of the camp fee.  A Lewis and Clark Museum is near the campground.  On this trip we will see areas visited by Lewis and Clark.
