Staircase staging area near Ranger Cabin, 8:30 a.m., boots on trail no later than 8:45 a.m. No carpooling except with members of your own household. Driving directions will be provided. Drivers will require a National Parks Pass.

NOTE: There is one creek crossing on a bridge high over Madeline Creek which may be of concern to those with a fear of heights.
