Day Hike - Burroughs Mountain

One of the most dramatic views of Washington's largest volcano; the landscape atop Burroughs is both broad and barren, so there is little to inhibit full exposure.

  • Easy, Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 9.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,500 ft
  • Pace: 2.

With any luck we can get all three Burroughs in.   Meet at Enumclaw Ranger Station, 450 Roosevelt Ave E, Enumclaw Wa 98022 at 8 am.  I have not done this hike.  I scheduled it in September so we can hopefully get cooler weather since this is a very exposed hike.  National Park Pass needed.

I am not a fast hiker so anyone impatient or fast please do not sign up.
