8:30 at Tacoma Dome Bus Station
Seattle Museum and Arboretum Walk: Take the time to smell the coffee and flowers of the Northwest. Meet at the Tacoma Dome Bus Station (Puyallup Ave between East D and G Sts.) at 8:45 AM to catch the 8:58 bus to downtown Seattle. We will then transfer to a bus taking us to the University District. We will then walk to the Burke Museum for the coffee tasting exhibit tour. Afterward, we will walk through the beautiful University campus to Portage Bay, where we will take a lunch break waterside on Lake Union at the Agua Verde Cafe and Paddle Club. Bring a lunch, or buy a lunch. After lunch we will cross the Montlake Bridge, and walk parkside along Lake Washington on our way to the Washington Park Arboretum. We will explore the many trails there. After a stop at the visitor's center and we will continue on to the Madison District to catch the bus home. Round trip bus fare is $6.00 (exact change needed). Museum admission is $9.50, however if there are 10 or more of us, the charge will be $6.50. Contact: Diane Malone -
