The Mountaineers are now allowing Mountaineer sponsored hikes with dogs. All members are invited to join hikes with dogs, but they must love dogs. Aug.14, Sat. - Bullion Basin Loop (M) (GT 271 Bumping Lake) (7 mi. 1600’ gain). This hikes loops around the edges of the Norse Peak Wilderness. Sweeping views over pine valleys of the Eastern Cascades and the glacier covered summits of Mt Rainer and Mt Adams. While this hike is listed as moderate most of the 1600' elevation gain is within the first 2 miles. Meet at Martin Way Park and Ride at 7 am.
