We will meet at the South Hill Park and ride (3300 94th Ave E, Puyallup) at 7:00AM. I will stop by the Enumclaw Rite-Aid around a half hour later to connect with those coming from the North but only if I've been given prior email notice.

This is a pretty mellow outing. This is often done as an add-on when doing Norse Peak. We'll go as slow as the slowest person wants or needs to go. That means really fast folks may be bored? It also means that after a summer of 4 or 5 mile hikes you might like to stretch your horizons just a bit. That's fine. We'll stop whenever anyone wants, be it a rest, to take pictures or just savor the moment.

Weather is forecast to be nice but plan for the unexpected. Make sure you have a lunch, plenty of liquids and a few snackies.

You will need a good lug soled shoe, preferably a boot as opposed to trail runners. (Yes, there are trail runners out there all the time but when they twist their ankles that's their responsibility.)

I'll print up topo maps for each participant so don't go buy one if you don't have one.
