Meet at the Poulsbo Church of the Nazarene, 22097 Viking Way, NW, at 8:00 am.
This is a moderate hike, 6 miles, round trip with 2,000. ft. elevation gain. The trail switchbacks up through the forest on a ridge next to Elbo Creek. You can hear the creek from the trail, but you can't actually see it. The last 1/2 mile or so is on forest roads 030 and 043 to the summit of Buck Mountain.
