  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 10.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft
  • Pace: 2.0 mph, slower on steep stuff, faster on easier parts.

My goals for this trip are:

1. Be safe.

2.  Get a good workout.

3.  Make it to the top of Buck Mtn.

My expectations for participants:

1.  Practice Leave No Trace principles.

2.  Be respectful of all participants.

3.  Have the necessary gear and clothing to be safe and comfortable. Snow, rain, sleet, it's all possible this time of year.

4.  Have the necessary physical conditioning for this trip.  Elbo creek trail is a steady climb but not too steep. The last 2 miles are on roads.
