Trip

Day Hike - Bridle Trails

Enjoy an early morning Tuesday adventure to Bridle Trails State Park with two bird enthusiasts. We'll combine movement and sensory enjoyment of the migrating, breeding birds. Bring binocs, patience, and your ears!

  • Easy
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 5.0 mi
  • Pace: 1.5 mph

We'll start on the perimeter trail counter-clockwise and let the park help us decide which way to go. We'll cover anywhere from 3-5+ miles depending on weather (high winds will cancel this trip, rain will shorten it, sun / calm will lengthen it) and interest.

Meet at the trailhead (details to follow in Hello Hiker email) at 7 a.m. in Kirkland ready for introductions at 7:10. Birds are most active early, hence the starting time.

Bring your binoculars, bird book, Merlin app (if you like) and let's enjoy some exercise and birdsong.
