9:30 AM at Metro Park & Ride lot, see leader notes
Meet at 9:30 am, Metro Park and Ride lot, 21st Ave SW and SW 344th St. Federal Way, southwest corner. This mostly level hike is on an asphalt trail through a wide power line right of way through the City of Federal Way. There is a short drive from the meeting place to the trailhead. We’ll have lunch at the Poverty Bay Café, which is near the east end of the trail. The trail passes a wildlife sanctuary and the King County Aquatic Center, which we can visit on the return hike, if there is interest in doing so. Dick Hayek, 253-952-1210. Sign up with clubhouse
