Day Hike - Blanca Lake

Blanca Lake is set in a large cirque in the rugged Monte Cristo peaks and fed by the Columbia Glacier and icy snowfields on the surrounding slopes.

Brickyard Park-and-Ride at 7:00 AM

Please have with you The 10 Essential System, do not wear cotton clothing, and have appropriate footwear;  i.e. no tennis shoes, trail runners, or FiveFingers®.

A Northwest Forest Pass or National Forest Recreation Day Pass is required to park at the trailhead.

Please be prepared for a hiking pace of ~2mph to Blanca Lake.
