Pace will be moderate and based on a slowest hiker. Snow level starts at 4,000 ft elevation. Highest point at ~ 4,600 ft elevation. Snow is solid and passable all the way to the lake (600 ft in 600 ft out). Waterproof boots are recommended. Since it is 4th of July weekend I expect a lot of traffic on US-2 E/Stevens Pass.
