Meet me at 9:00am at Super 1 Foods parking lot: 200 E Mountain View Ave, Ellensburg, WA 98926 . I will send out roster info before the hike so participants can organize carpools to Ellensburg.
We will hike up Black Canyon through the yellow aspen trees up to the top of a 4200ft. high point on Umtanum Ridge, offering views of Mt. Rainier & Adams, the Stuart Range, Kittitas & Yakima Valleys, and Umtanum Canyon. Bring your cameras and feel free to stop as much as you want to take photos of the fall colors. Weather must be at least partly sunny or else hike will be cancelled.
