Day Hike - Big Creek

PREFERENCE TO OLYMPIA BRANCH CONDITIONING HIKING SERIES PARTICIPANTS. Will go to the the Mt. Ellinor Connector. Trip may open to general membership at leader discretion and space availability.

This hike is listed with priority to Olympia Conditioning Hiking Series participants but may open to general membership at leader discretion.  Group will stay together and hike at the speed of the slowest participant.  Arrive at meeting place 10 minutes early and fully prepared.

This is a Moderate hike. It is estimated to be 2000 feet elevation gain and 7.1 miles according to GPS gadgets to the mt Ellinor connector trail.  This hike goes beyond the usual Big Creek loop trail. Call leader if unsure of your ability to climb 2000 feet. 
  The Group and leader will determine if we hike to the overlook or to the connector trail.
