This trip is open to members of the Naturalists Study Group (they have Leader's permission).

The goal of this trip is to see flowers that are not in bloom when the Natural World Course field trips are held. We should see Northern and Sulfur Buckwheat, Skyrocket, Alpine Collomia, and Alpine Springbeauty. The destination is the saddle north of Bean Peak for a total distance of 10 miles.

Hot weather is likely, so this is not a good trip for someone who easily gets heat-related illness.
