Day Hike - Mercer Slough Nature Park
We will watch a short slide show & take an easy walk through the City of Bellevue Mercer Slough Nature Park to primarily view lichens.

I will send out an email to all participants on Thursday before the trip with all details of when & where to meet.
We will start at my Seattle Wedgwood house to look at samples & a 30 minute presentation of the biology & identification of lichens. Then we will take a 40 minute drive the the Mercer Slough Nature Park. We will do parts of the Bellefields Loop Trail & the Heritage Loop trail. Mostly we will be looking for lichens but we always have our eye out for other things.
