This is a strenuous hike with 8 mls roundtrip and 3250 ft elevation gain. We'll be walking at a moderate to fast pace. I anticipate we take about 2 hours to the summit and a bit less time back. This trip is only for experienced hikers with strong conditioning.

I'll happen in overcast to sunny conditions, but we won't hike in the rain. The current forecast says a small % chance of rain in the morning but improvement during the day so we should be fine.

The goal is to start early so we avoid the morning traffic in Seattle.
