4:00 PM at QFC in Issaquah
This hike is relatively steep (3,000 ft. elevation gain over 3.5 miles) but views from the summit are amazing so it will pay off the effort. There is one particular very steep section from the junction to Mason Lake close up to the ridge. The trail is exposed to sun at the end so it is perfect for after hours hike. We also need to hike 1/4 of a mile to the trailhead and back since the road is closed because of washouts. The clubhouse will not arrange carpooling so we will need to arrange it at the meeting place. Please check your headlights at home and bring extra batteries since there is possibility that we will come back in dark. The pace will be moderate and steady. We will have a few short breaks just to catch a breath and drink some water.
