Meet at 4:30 PM at High Point Way (exit 20 on I-90).
If you're coming from Seattle be sure to allow time for I-90 commute traffic through Bellevue and Issaquah. Teaming up for the HOV lanes can save significant time.
This is a midweek after hours hike of Bandera Mountain. Pace will be moderate, with a the goal of gaining 1000' every 45 minutes for a total time-to-summit of about 2 1/2 hours including breaks. We will go to the usual false summit, not the extended route to the true summit. We'll most likely be finishing in the dark, so be sure to bring a headlamp and spare batteries. Sunset is at about 8:45pm.
Rain cancels because the upper part of the route is on steep bare rock.
