This is a favorite hike of mine near my college at CWU. About 6 miles and 2000ft. gain on a nice but steep trail above the canyon, providing views of the Stuart Range, Mt. Rainier, Adams, and even Hood. A herd of bighorn sheep lives on this mountain, so bring binoculars and a high-zoom camera for some wildlife viewing!
The hike will be pushed back to a later weekend (January 17 or 24-25) if the weather doesn't cooperate.
