Day Hike - Baker Lodge

This Fall Colors Photography weekend event is for those staying at Baker Lodge. All guests at Baker Lodge need to be fully vaccinated with masks optional. This casual weekend provides a great venue for photographers to photograph fall colors. There are no organized hikes, but Baker Lodge has information for many local hikes. People will group up at the lodge to determine the day's destination. Picture Lake with Mount Shuksan reflection and Artist Point are favorite destinations. Most trailheads will require Northwest Forest Pass for parking. This activity is open to all (Mountaineers and non-Mountaineers).

Reserve your bed at Baker Lodge

Fall colors and Mount Shuksan reflecting in Picture Pond is a short walk from Baker Lodge. Picture Pond is great for Sunrise and Sunset photography. Many hikes are available from easy to strenuous. No pre-signup. We'll see who want to do what and group up at the lodge with a qualified leader. You can arrive on Friday evening or Saturday morning. If Saturday plan to be at the lodge by 8am.
