7:30 outside Nisqually Mount Rainier Park entrance. 

Hike of Aurora Peak - only.

Must have bicycle suitable for travel on gravel road. Recommend bringing bringing helmet and extra bicycle tube in case of flat tire.

Mt. Rainier National Park Pass required.

APPROACH & ASCENT

MOUNTAIN BIKE APPROACH

With the road closure, you'll need to mountain bike to the trailhead. It's 15.1 miles round trip with 1,580 feet of elevation gain by bike to and from the St. Andrews Creek Trailhead.

HIKE AURORA PEAK (6,094 FT)

Hike the St. Andrews Trail to Aurora Lake, take the right fork and continue to the summit. From the St. Andrews Creek Trailhead, it's 5.6 miles round trip with 2,550 feet of elevation gain.
