After Hours Activity This hike is moderate (about 7.5 miles and 1,700 ft elevation gain). The pace will be photo-moderate: a moderate pace allowing for short rest and camera breaks if desired. Headlamps are required, as the last part of our trip will likely be after dusk. Hiking in the dark can be fun! While this trip is appropriate for many hikers, this is still a mountain hike with some elevation gain and some length. For group safety, our pace is set to the slowest hiker; thus it is important that participants are appropriately conditioned. If you are new to hiking or haven't been active in awhile, please feel free to contact me. We can assess together whether or not this is the right trip for you. Northwest Forest Parking Pass is required. For those new to hiking: * Please come dressed appropriately for wilderness travel. Hiking boots and non-cotton clothing are essential. * Please come prepared with your Hiking 10 Essentials, including head lamps. For more info, check out http://www.seattlemountaineers.org/sbten.htm. If you have questions about any of the above, I'm at your service via email or phone.
