Annette Lake is a moderate level, out and back, 7.5 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1700 ft; high point is 3600 ft. The trail is well maintained, passes through scree fields, forests, affords some views of both Granite and Humpback Mountains, and ends at an alpine lake. Our pace will be between 1.75-2 mph. My preferred pace is 2 mph; however, I have not been exercising as much the last 2 months so I am not sure of my own pace at this time.
