Meet at 08:30am at the trailhead parking lot. It is reached off of I-90 Exit 47. After exiting, take a right (south) and then a left (north) at the "T" in the road. The parking lot is a short distance at the end of the road and on the right side. A Northwest Forest Pass or equivalent must be displayed in your car. For those wishing to coordinate carpooling, an email will be sent out after registration closes.
Annette Lake is one of the most beautiful alpine lake settings without driving too far out of town. The drive is within an hour from both cities. The hike is pleasant and will be casual-paced to accommodate the slowest hike. We will take a lunch break upon arriving to the lake. The temperature of the air may be on the cool side, but the hike up will be warmer, so dress in layers. Trekking poles encouraged. Feel free to bring a camera as there might be some beautiful fall colors to capture.
