The trail is relatively level, but there are uphill sections. We may also encounter mud depending on the weather that week. For hikers getting back into shape, trekking poles are suggested. Potential birds in the woods and in the lake. We'll make periodic rest stops and for lunch. Estimated time on trail 3 hours.
After the hike, anyone interested in exploring an extra 2-5 miles, we'll caravan to Gibbs Lake County Park or Chimacum Ridge Community Forest (no passes required).
Meet at 10AM in the parking area near the lake. Discover Passes required. Restrooms also available.
ALSP is located at 1061 Anderson Lake Road, Chimacum, WA 98325.
