A favorite island day trip. Let's hike at American Camp. Nice views, sandy trails, lots of variety and wildlife. We will have time for the occasional nature is awesome stop, a picnic, some photos. and will also keep it moving along.
Logistics: We will meet at the Anacortes Ferry Dock in the morning to carpool to the island and trailhead. We will return on a ferry departing Friday Harbor around 5ish. Arriving back at Anacortes around 6:30-7pm. timing depends on the Spring ferry schedule. Participants will need to pay their ferry fare.
