8:00 AM Saturday, October 13th at Log building - Roderick-Haig Brown Prov Park

Note: for those staying at the Shuswap Lake Motel Resort and would like to carpool with me (I can take two people), I plan to depart from the Wallingford neighborhood at noon on Friday, October 12th. There is plenty of free street parking at my address. Send me an email if you are interested.

This is a photo-oriented trip, however, naturalists may enjoy it, too since there's lots to explore along the river and in the canyons. Arrive Friday evening. Trip begins Saturday 8:00am & ends Sunday approx 3pm. Saturday - photograph salmon & scenery along lower Adams River, between river mouth at Shuswap Lk & upper canyon trailhead. Sunday - we'll hike upstream into the canyon for salmon, birds, and scenic river habitat.

Nominal parking fee: approx $5/day.

Car camp and motel options Friday & Saturday evening in Sorrento or Chase.
