Cross-country Ski - White Pass Nordic Center

We will focus mainly on blue (intermediate) trails. We will ski at a pace at which the group can stay together. Classic skis only, please. 

White Pass Nordic Center's web address is: https://skiwhitepass.com/the-mountain/nordic-center.  Trail map, snow and trail conditions and weather reports are available on their site. Trail passes are $33 plus a $5 fee for the RFID card. There is no additional parking fee on top of the trail pass.

To request leader's permission, please email the leader after registration opens on January 27 with a short description of your prior cross-country ski experience. Students who took a Mountaineers cross-country ski course in 2025 are encouraged to attend.

9:00 a.m. in front of XC ski-rental yurt at White Pass Nordic area, skis and packs on, ready to ski.

Please note that White Pass Ski Area is approximately 2.5-3 hours' drive from Seattle and plan accordingly!  The leader will be staying locally for the weekend, but encourages trip participants to carpool.
