Cross-country Ski - White Pass Nordic Center

The White Pass Nordic ski shop closes after April 9, put the trails will be available to the public.  A courtesy grooming is scheduled for Saturday, April 15.  Join us skiing the Lake loop and the upper trails, probably to the Dark Meadow extension. We will probably do about eight miles. Driving time from Olympia is two and a half hours. Car pool and other information will be emailed to registered participants. Gear rental shop and yurt cafe will be closed.

We expect the trails to be groomed.  Parking lot elevation is 4,500 feet, and snowpack should be good.  You must be able to keep up a classic nordic stride, snow plow and handle easy to moderate hills and turns.  Please email leader if you have any questions, especially about gear or whether this trip is right for you.
