We'll try doing this loop up on the west side of Lake Kachess. Due to the large amount of snow, we will attempt to make what pace we can. We'll start on the Lake Kachess Road and then head up hill on an old forest road. Be sure you can handle going up hill and be comfortable with other aspects of backcountry skiing. Last time Evan was there, he had to blaze trail going up fairly steep sections of snow and navigate across small creeks. Carrie Strandell will be helping Evan Moses on this fun-filled mentored trip. If you have any questions and for sign-up requests, please contact Evan at 425-577-4584 or preferably email - Evan will send trip participants a map of the area. It is also advised to bring climbing skins for the skis if you have them. It will help in the steeper sections. However - it is still possible to do the trip without skins.
