This full loop is a long and strenuous day at 14 miles and 1500 ft elevation gain. Classic and skate skiers are both welcome, but you must be experienced and have excellent stamina. In your permission request, please describe your distance/elevation on xc ski adventures this season for the mode you plan to take.
There is a warming hut on the loop to stop for lunch and we'll take breaks periodically as needed. We'll move pretty consistently though to ensure sufficient time to be back to our cars before sundown. If conditions are poor, we'll revector to somewhere else in the region.
This is day one of a two-part adventure. You are welcome to join for one or both days, the late start time will hopefully facilitate folks joining just for the day. Please arrange your own accommodations if you'd like to make a weekend of it!
Nason Ridge Sno-park, geared up and ready to ski at 9:30am! More details to be communicated to participants closer to the date.
