Join me on a cross-country ski trip in the beautiful Methow Valley. If you are not familiar with the Methow, it is described as the American Alps and is listed as a top 10 nordic ski destination in North America. There are nearly 200 kilometers of groomed ski trails and many more ungroomed. The dates are from Thursday, January 26th to Sunday, January 29nd. We will be staying in a private, rental cabin near the town of Winthrop. We will be spending the days out enjoying the dry snow east of the cascades on skis and snowshoes. By night we’ll check out the wildlife--or nightlife--in Winthrop and, if so inspired, go skiing by moonlight. For further info about skiing in the Methow check there sites: Cost for lodging will be $90-$120 per person for all three nights, depending upon how many sign up. There is a fee for using the groomed ski trails. Sign up with me before January 8th, I will accept later sign up, but don’t count on it. or 206-363-2039.
