We will meet 7/16 at 8 am with the Squamish Rock Guides group who will be the guides instructing and teaching the participants to become better teachers and climbers.  We will meet them at the Mamquam Campground.

I'll be heading up 7/15 in the evening to camp. Then we will go climb from there. People will purchase their own camping, but we are camping at Mamquam River Campground. Book online before you go. Don't forget to carpool too.

We will be climbing in small groups with 3 guides for 3 days.  Sunday will be an optional day to climb in smaller groups or head home early. You're choice.

YOU MUST HAVE A PASSPORT BEFORE THIS TRIP. THIS IS A TRIP TO CANADA AND BORDER CROSSING IS REQUIRED.

All applications will be accepted until February 15th. After the 15th, the committee will pick the applicants to participate in this LDF trip and e-mail each applicant.

Guide fees for this trip are funded by The Mountaineers Leadership Development Fund and the Olympia Branch Climbing Funds.

This trip leaders will learn to push their climbing knowledge and skills to the next level with professional guides. They will be teaching proper teaching skills, how to climb more efficiently and helping us safely push our climbing limits.

Each year, The Mountaineers designates funds to support the professional growth of our leaders. These funds are made available to individual leaders – as well as small groups of leaders – to support their attendance at conferences, workshops, courses, and other programs that help them grow as outdoor leaders. For more information, or to apply for a grant, please visit the Leadership Development Fund page on our website.

Thank you for volunteering!
