  • Campsite: Salt Creek Recreation Area. Campsites are first come, first served with up to six people per campsite at $28-$32 per site. One fully ADA accessible restroom, with coin-operated shower; one vault toilet available November to April. Water faucets can be found throughout the Park, with limited access from October to April due to winterization. Firewood is available for $5, and burn bans have been lifted in Clallam County as of Oct 22. 

Description of Day 1: 24.5 mi | 2,428 ft - We'll ride the Olympic Adventure Trail to the junction of the Olympic Discovery Trail (Joyce-Piedmont Rd) (18.1 mi, 2,297 ft). We'll then ride north to Salt Creek Recreation Area and setup our campsite (6.4 mi, 131 ft).    

Description of Day 2: 24.5 mi | 2,868 ft - We'll ride from Salt Creek Recreation Area to the Olympic Discovery Trail until we reach the junction of the Discovery Trail and the Olympic Adventure Trail (6.4 mi, 773 ft). We'll ride the Olympic Adventure trail back to the trailhead (18.1 mi, 2095 ft).

  • A Bikepacking repair kit for your bikes.
  • Bikepacking and cold-weather overnight gear.
  • Bike lights: A tail light for the 6 mi Day 1 and 6 mi Day 2 road segments. A headlight or headlamp should unexpected riding after dark occur.
