Come join us for a fun and relaxing winter snowshoe! I've listed this trip as leader's choice as I haven't yet picked a destination - that is dependent on weather. Likely candidates include something easy on the I90 corridor, possibly Gold Creek or Wenatchee Crest. I'll update this description later in the week with the actual destination. Regardless of destination choice, you can expect a leisurely, fun trip in the snow with cool people that are there to have a good time. Whether you're new to the Mountaineers or the UTHRs or have been around for a while, this will definitely be a good time for all. My focus is on safety and fun (in that order)! We'll meet at 8am at the Greenlake Park and Ride and carpool to our destination. Everyone needs to bring snowshoes - I don't have any to loan. REI rents snowshoes for a reasonable amount, as does Second Ascent in Ballard. Please contact leader with questions!
