Let's do an easy snowshoe up to Source Lake! If avy danger is high, we'll do another snowshoe in the Snoqualmie Pass area. This will be a casual snowshoe designed for first time snowshoers. We'll leave at a late hour in the morning (10am from Issaquah) and will be back early afternoon. Lunch at the lake with some cool views of the surrounding peaks and a relatively easy and flat hike in make this a fun trip! Participants will need to provide their own snowshoes and poles. You can rent snowshoes and poles at a variety of places, such as REI or Second Ascent. Contact leader for other gear questions. 4 spots for this trip are open to the general membership. I'm holding 6 spots open for people attending the Meet the Mountaineers event on Thursday the 13th. If you aren't able to get in the first group and can't attend the event, check back on Friday as some more spots might become available! ** RESCHEDULED DUE TO POOR WEATHER FORECAST/HIGH AVY DANGER **
