A likely Easy + trip to an overlook with a beautiful view, weather dependent, including two lakes just below and a great vista towards Eastern WA. Hope for good weather! Be sure to bring your wet weather gear just in case plus the usual 10 (+) essentials! FAMILIES are invited to join, youth must be 10 years or older, due to distance. Contact me (luswright@gmail.com) with any questions. Leader's permission is required for younger youth.
The pace will be easy to moderate, with stops for photography as well as regular rest breaks and lunch. I plan to go as far as Louise Lake but it will depend on time, weather, trail conditions, and group consensus. Turn-around time dictated by Longmire Gate. We will be off trail by 3:30 and back at Longmire before 4 p.m.
